Pathology Analysis Training for Medical and Allied Health Practitioners
If you are a Medical or Allied Health professional, who needs to analyse and interpret pathology tests regularly or occasionally, or would like to, these series of courses will teach you the IIFP method of complete pathology analysis! These courses can help to improve your diagnostic skills and ability to interpret pathology results in a more holistic way.
Blood pathology tests are a great tool and being able to analyse and interpret the results is a very important and great skill to have in clinical practice! But are you doing this properly?
We hear all the time from patients who have had a consultation with their doctors and had blood tests done to try and explain why they have symptoms and conditions, only to be told that "everything is normal". This isn't possible, because people don't go to see doctors for fun! Patients want answers and they want help.
We don't believe Medical and Allied Health practitioners get taught how to read pathology results properly. But now you can, and you can get ahead of your colleagues, and help your patients better! These techniques can help you in acute situations as well as chronic cases. The Institute for Integrative and Functional Pathology (IIFP) is a training organisation for health professionals to improve their skills in pathology analysis, by learning how to analyse results in a more holistic way, and how to find organ dysfunctions and nutrient deficiencies much earlier before they become a more chronic problem. Using our techniques, you can diagnose your patients more accurately and consistently.
You can get professional development (CPE) points for the training hours in these courses. There is also an optional exam and certification on completion of the Level 1-3 courses, so you can join our published list of certified practitioners and patients can contact and book with you for their pathology analysis.
The IIFP now have 2 levels of Pathology Analysis training:
Level 1 (5 hours) - The basics of which tests to recommend, what they mean, and what to look for to determine nutrient deficiencies and organ dysfunctions, why reference ranges are not ideal, but using optimal ranges will help you find the causes and factors of your clients symptoms and conditions
Level 2 (6.5 hours, coming very soon!) - More detail of many tests, more biochemistry which underlies some tests and results, many results for specific conditions, including blood disorders, headaches and migraines, pain conditions, mental health issues, and many more
Level 3 (Coming soon!).
The IIFP Level 1 training for Medical and Allied Health Professionals includes a detailed co-requisite training on nutrition, to be completed either before or soon after the Level 1 training, which includes:
What the main nutrients are that are needed for the body
How the nutrients are used for different body functions, organs and tissues
Nutrient deficiency symptoms and conditions
Digestive system function and its relationship with nutrient deficiencies
Common symptoms and conditions and how these appear in pathology results
And much more.
This nutrition training is needed so you can understand and interpret the pathology results using this knowledge to find nutrient deficiencies and be able to relate these to the symptoms and conditions the patients are having.
See the following sections for more information on each Pathology Analysis training course, and tickets to access and start the training immediately! The couses are recorded, and come with full presentation notes to keep, and no expiry on accessing the training. Occasionally the courses, or other more specialised training, will be done live. Join our email list HERE to be kept informed of new training. Courses must be completed in order.
