Welcome to the IIFP!

The Institute for Integrative and Functional Pathology (IIFP) is a unique organisation, providing many new services relating to pathology tests and their results (blood tests initially, and others).
Primarily the IIFP is a training organisation, providing training for health practitioners on the complete and holistic analysis and interpretation of pathology results.

The organisation name explains what we do:

• Institute - a training organisation
• Integrative - "combining 2 or more things to form an effective unit or system", or "combining allopathic (conventional medicine) with alternative or complementary therapies"
• Functional Pathology - pathology tests and results are analysed in a more holistic way, including looking at their physiological, biomedical, metabolic, hormonal, and nutritional status and meanings, and how the results are causing the patient's symptoms and conditions.

The IIFP also provides certification to practitioners after they complete several levels of training courses and passing an exam. The public and patients can then connect with trained and experienced practitioners to get their pathology results analysed and interpreted using our unique and complete method to get the answers they need.

The IIFP came into being as a result of the Founder seeing so many patients coming with pathology results from their Doctors, and being told that "everything was normal" with the results. Patients were not getting a diagnosis or treatment that they were looking for. It didn't seem normal that nothing was wrong or showing in their results. This started many years of training courses, reading published studies and textbooks, and developing this unique method of pathology analysis and training!

With the IIFP training, health practitioners WILL be able to find the issues and causes of patients' symptoms and conditions, in order to improve their health!

The IIFP Founder

The Founder of the IIFP, and Clinical Nutritionist, Naturopath, and Herbalist, is Ross Walter. 
Ross is an award-winning practitioner, who specialises in complex and chronic health conditions, and has had an interest in pathology for many years. Ross has developed a unique protocol for analysing and interpreting pathology results of complex and chronic cases, which he uses for all his patients.
Ross has trained approximately 1000 health professionals in this unique functional pathology method, including Doctors, Nutritionists, Naturopaths, Allied Health practitioners, Chiropractors, and more!
